Police are investigating an incident in which a 38-year-old man died after he allegedly fell on the staircase of his house in Spring Valley, Nairobi.
The body of Julius Murigi was found on his staircase long after he had died at the weekend.
He lived alone on the first floor of an apartment.
Police who attended the scene said they are yet to establish if the victim died out of the fall and if it was accidental or if he was pushed.
The body was moved to the mortuary where the postmortem is planned.
Elsewhere, a Burundian mason fell off the fifth floor of a building under construction and died in an incident in Mihango, Nairobi.
The victim was busy at a site when a stone that had dropped off the rooftop hit him. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
This is the latest such incident to happen in the sector in a series that have been happening in the city.

The family of Albert Ngumi, 38 has been informed of the death at Kamiti prisons where he was being detained after being found guilty of causing grievous harm.
He had been detained under presidential pleasure on September 20, 2019.
Officials said he fell sick and succumbed days later at the prison medical facility.
