Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi now says that Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi will be President William Ruto's deputy in 2027.
According to Ngunyi, the Kikuyu community will be pushed out and it will take a revolutionary moment for them to regain political relevance.
"Mudavadi will be Ruto's running mate in 2027. Kikuyus will be downsized and will need a Kenneth Matiba to regain relevance," he said on Monday.
The former Technical assistant to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta has been a critic of DP Rigathi Gachagua and the Kenya Kwanza government.
During campaigns, he largely backed Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance led by Raila Odinga for the presidency.
