Kilifi North MP Owen Baya has retained his seat.

He was re-elected on a UDA ticket.

Baya garnered 27,558 votes beating four other candidates.

Eliud Kalama of ODM got 19699, Ian Amani Jefwa of PAA garnered 4502, Nobert Gongolo got 544 and Elizabeth Ziro got 723.

Earlier on, Baya caused a stir at the tallying centre after he disrupted the tallying demanding his certificate.

Speculations were rife that IEBC officers were planning to issue a certificate to another candidate prompting him to storm the tallying centre.
