Kisii Ward Administrator jailed one year over forgery

He forged academic certificates to secure employment as a Ward Administrator.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission conducted investigations and preferred five counts of charges against him which he was convicted on.

Kisii Ward Administrator Evans Nyaoka Rambeka has been handed one-year imprisonment in default for forging academic papers.

Kisii Chief Magistrate N. S Lutta convicted him for forging and using a Certificate and a Diploma in Human Resource Management.

He was fined Sh450,000 for using forged academic certificates to secure employment as a Ward Administrator.

Evans claimed that the documents were genuine and issued by the Kenya Institute of Management.
