Ruto, Gachagua arrive at Uhuru Gardens for Labour Day celebrations

President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua have arrived at Uhuru Gardens for the Labour Day celebrations.

Labour CS Florence Bore, Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja are also present.

The celebrations are being held at a time when heavy rains are pounding various parts of the City.

Labour Day is dedicated to honouring the contributions of working people in every industry and sector.

The 59th celebrations is held to celebrate Kenyan workers for their contributions to their economy.
