A fire razed down a dormitory at Kisumu Boys high school on Saturday.
The fire is reported to have started at the dormitories at around 7.45 am and then spread to some classes.
Three dormitories and five classes were affected by the morning fire.
The mathematics department was also affected.
Locals helped fire fighters from Kisumu County, who rushed to the scene to stop the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
