Medina Palms Hotel in Watamu in Kilifi has been voted as the best hotel in Kenya in the TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Awards for 2015.
The hotel was ranked among the top 25 hotels in Africa for its services and facilities, based on reviews and opinions by customers.
Medina Palms has units for both short stay for holiday makers and for sale or rent for those seeking long term residences. It also offers luxury homes for sale along the Watamu coastline.
It comprises of apartments, villas as well as a hotel. Medina Palms comprises 50 apartments and villas inspired by Arabian architecture.

Kenya Tourism Board managing director Muriithi Ndegwa said the achievement by Medina Palms will help in efforts to market the country as an ideal holiday destination in ongoing campaigns to boost the tourism industry.

Medina Palms has today demonstrated this fact by emerging the top hotel in the country and also being among the top 25 hotels in Africa," said Muriithi during the award presentation event on Sunday in Watamu.
