New HR tool launched to track employees' location

FaidiHR, a cloud payroll and human resource (HR) platform provider, has launched a mobile app designed to empower employees and enhance their payroll and HR experience

The app allows employees to clock in and out, request payslips and advances, request time off, update public information and access benefits information with just a few taps.

In addition, employers will be able to track their employees' location when they are in the field to maximise their productivity.

FaidiHR CEO Peter Muchemi highlighted the need for accessible HR tools and how the firm was working to bridge that gap.

Experts say 48 per cent of small and medium enterprises in Kenya use HR Payroll apps and the trend is likely to increase over the coming years due to the ease of use of the apps.

Some key features of the app include effortless payroll management where employees can view their payslips,P9 forms and track earnings conveniently from their mobile phones

Employees will also be informed about important payroll deadlines, policy updates, and company updates through instant alerts in the interactive dashboards
