BMW X7 now in Kenya, going for Sh28 million

Slightly over 9,000 Kenyans can afford The 2023 BMW X7 which made its maiden debut on the Kenyan market.

The luxury vehicle which comes in petrol options with a Twin-power 6-cylinder engine delivering 280 kilometers per hour costs €185,000, close to Sh28 million.

The latest Africa Wealth Report by Knight Frank shows there are 8,600 individuals in the country with assets worth Sh100 million, 340 valued at over Sh1 billion and 16 whose net worth has hit Sh10 billion.

The vehicle is distributed by Inchcape Kenya, the official importer, distributor and service provider of BMW vehicles and BMW Motorrad in the country.

The power and aerodynamic design enable it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in 5.8 seconds. 

It also comes with a further expanded range of standard equipment, additional driver assistance systems and the latest 48V mild technology for the three engine variants offered.

The 2023 BMW X7 which is the biggest vehicle made by BMW exhibits a spectrum of special features and customisation options for customers.

It has rapidly ascended to become one of the most successful models in the luxury segment worldwide offering reliability, convenience, space, as well as cutting-edge technology.

The vehicle comes as a seven-seater standard with a 6-seater customisation option and has a fully tropicalized system that is great for Kenyan climate and terrains.

The generous feeling of space on board the new BMW X7 can be enjoyed across three rows of seats.

The second row accommodates three passengers as standard and offers two particularly comfortable individual seats as an option. Heated comfort seats are provided as standard for the driver and front passenger.

According to Inchcape Kenya’s managing director Julia Vershinskaya, the 2023 BMW X7 is set to revolutionise the local car-buying experience by offering customers a unique opportunity to personalise their vehicles.

“While the process of custom fitting the vehicle will take 4 to 6 months, the customer will benefit from a flexible zero-interest monthly payment plan enabling them to enjoy financial ease while designing a vehicle tailored to their specifications,'' she said.

The period will of zero-interest financing covers the car’s production, customisation and shipping.

Besides its customisable luxury interiors and exteriors, the 2023 BMW X7 comes equipped with the latest technologically enhanced safety features based on its driver assistant feature.

The vehicle’s luxury features are further enhanced by its futuristic design that incorporates technological features including a Head-up display of relevant driving information such as maps and speed directly on the driver’s field of vision.

The car comes standard with a sunroof with the option of a sky lounge.
