HP, Mitsumi partner to create jobs for the youth

HP and Mitsumi have agreed to strengthen their partnership and create more employment opportunities for the youth.

They target individuals who are innovative and technology savvy, mainly students.

The two brands have also affirmed their commitment to providing innovative and quality products to their customers across the African continent and beyond.

In a collaborative approach, HP and Mitsumi have been able to grow their profits in competitive markets through sustained innovation and customer-friendly initiatives.

Mitsumi’s culture has been nurtured with responsibilities that are assigned to acknowledging hardworking employees, and are rewarded based on competence and excellence in dispensing their work.

According to Mitsumi Distribution president, Mathew Thomas, their goal among others, is to consistently provide the latest technology to people and large projects and facilitate change and transformation of people’s lives.

“We are aware of progressive innovations that bring people together. This is the reason we are celebrating the milestone today, along with our partners as we look to consolidate and offer better services of our products for progressive growth of the society”, he said.

The partnership between Mitsumi and HP has been an ascension plane in penetrating the global market of enhanced technology products.

HP has also benefited from the business drive.

While acknowledging the initiative, HP’s managing director for the Africa CentralEast region, Vileshen Moodley, affirmed the company will continue to innovate.

“We are who we are because of the confidence bestowed on us by our customers globally. They are the reason we are here as we reflect on how the year has been and where we have come from following the nearly two years of the pandemic that presented a big challenge.”

The two speakers hosted more than 150 partners at a gala dinner in Nairobi which was also a celebration of their achievements so far, with top partners receiving special recognition awards across categories for consistency, enterprise business, and fastest-growing partnership, among others.
