SasaPay to power Postal Corporation of Kenya payments

The move is aimed at bringing a seamless, secure, and safe process for making payments.

SasaPay will power Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) payments, enabling business-to-customer (B2C)payments, utility payments, and government payments among others.

The move is aimed at bringing a seamless, secure, and safe process for making payments while also greatly contributing to a cashless ecosystem for PCK.

On the other hand, SasaPay also stands to benefit from a network of over 600 agent outlets countrywide in all the existing PCK branches.

"It will facilitate all SasaPayservices including but not limited to cash-in and cash-out services, deposits of coins that have largely been stored in people's houses, payment of utilities, to mention but a few," the entities said in a statement on Friday.

SasaPay is a licensed and regulated payment platform that is available on App and USSD (*626#) that Kenyans can use to send money, receive, withdraw or deposit at an agent, as well as pay bills at any SasaPay till or pay bill.

This comes a day after the just concluded two-day Seamless Africa Conference that brought together fintechs, payment providers and banks from around the world, where SasaPay was akin to share their expertise in the payments space.

The firm has been keen on supporting Fintechs.
