KRU reveal dates for 2024/25 transfer window

This follows the conclusion of the 2023/24 season where KCB won the pre-season Floodlit tournament while Kabras struck a Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup double.

The Kenya Rugby Union transfer window will run from June 10 to July 14, the local governing body said in a statement.

This follows the conclusion of the 2023/24 season where KCB won the pre-season Floodlit tournament while Kabras struck a Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup double.

"As we transition to the new season, we would like to notify clubs that the transfer window for 2024-25 will officially open on June 10," KRU stated.

KRU has urged clubs to utilise the window to complete all their transfer activities.

Clubs are required to comply with related rules and regulations to avoid issues when the new season begins. 

"Please be reminded that no player will be allowed to participate in the 2024-25  season if they are not duly and effectively registered within the stipulated transfer window," KRU said. 

KRU also confirmed the relegation of Catholic Monks and Homeboys to the Championship while Impala and South Coast Pirates were promoted to the top tier.

Tum Marines and Zetech Oaks were promoted to the Championship while Kabarak University dropped to the Nationwide League.
