KCB fullback Darwin Mukidza will captain the Kenya Simbas in their final match against the Spanish side, Diables Barcelona on Thursday in Bloemfontein.

The team had a training session in Bloemfontein before running onto the pitch on Wednesday for their Captain’s run at the Toyota Stadium.

Speaking after Wednesday's session, Mukidza stated that the players are pumped and ready for the encounter against the Spanish side.

Mukidza will start at flyhalf away from his favoured fullback position.

"They have also picked up the pace of the game during our training sessions and we also saw how the Diables Barcelona play their rugby. I believe we’re ready for the game and I can assure our supporters that we will give it our best when we take on to the pitch tomorrow."

Mukidza will be assisted by Kabras' George Nyambua and will see Joseph Odero, Boniface Ochieng and Patrick Ouko in the front row with Kabras' Brian Juma and Thomas Okeyo in the second row. Nyambua, Fidel Oloo and Thomas Sakari complete the back row.

In the backs, Barry Robinson partners Mukidza as the half-back combination with John Okoth and Peter Kilonzo in midfield. Derrick Ashiundu, Andrew Matoka and Isaac Njoroge are the back three for this encounter.

The match will kick off at 6:30 pm (EAT) and will be broadcast live on SuperSport Channel 211.
