Shujaa edged Germany 24-17 to romp to the main cup semis at the Edmonton sevens in a pulsating encounter yesterday evening

Innocent Simiyu 's charges will now play the winner of the late match South Africa and Hong Kong later tonight in the last four while Great Britain will face Canada in the first semi.

Shujaa started brilliantly dominating possession and the breakdown pinning the Germans in their own half and were rewarded with two first-half tries by Jeff Oluoch and Alvin Otieno for a 19-0 lead at the interval.
