Indiza wins in Karen to seal 2023/24 Safari Tour title

Indiza wrapped up the series with 294.5 points ahead of Samuel Njoroge of Railways with 251.0.

•In Karen, Indiza had his campaign effectively sewn up when penultimate leader Ronald Rugumayo of Ugandan faltered in the closing round.

Dismas Indiza is the 2023-24 Safari Tour season champion following a sterling performance in the last round of the series at Karen. 

Indiza won the Karen leg with a gross total of 18-under par 270 following a closing round of 67.

On his way up, the long-hitting pro hit an eagle on the par 5 to win his second event of the Tour and indeed the Order of Merit.

He wrapped up the series with 294.5 points ahead of Samuel Njoroge of Railways with 251.0.

Greg Snow ended his season in third with 234.3 with Daniel Nduva of Mombasa fourth with 172.0.

"It's such a great feeling to end the season on a high. I go to the Magical Kenya Open with a positive attitude and I am happy everything went according to plan," Indiza said.

In Karen, Indiza had his campaign effectively sewn up when penultimate leader Ronald Rugumayo of Ugandan faltered in the closing round.

Rugumayo shot a disappointing over-par 75 in the last round to settle for second position.

Third was Snow with 277 gross. Snow has played consistently this season,  winning in Sigona and coming third in Karen and Limuru.  Indiza won the Uganda Open and Karen.
