Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has joined the family of the late Deputy Governor of Lamu County, Raphael Munyua Ndun'gu for his funeral in Mpeketoni.
Ndung'u died on September 6, 2024.
Gachagua said in times of deep pain and always, humanity should turn its eyes to the Lord God, the sole giver of human life.
"Raphael was a steadfast family man and a patriotic public servant. My heartfelt sympathies to his family, the people of Lamu County, his friends and relatives," he said.
