Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has vowed to leverage their victory over AFC Leopards to win their remaining three Kenyan Premier League matches.

Bidco edged Ingwe 1-0 at the Kenyatta Stadium on May 19 courtesy of Samuel Ndung’u's 68th-minute goal.

Akhulia reiterated his desire to finish in the top 10.

"We’ve done the double over Leopards and that performance is a real boost for the lads as we push for a top 10 finish," Akhulia said.

Bidco won the first leg fixture 2-1 at St. Sebastian Park in Murang’a on December 10. Shariff Musa bagging a brace and Victor Omune netted for Leopards.

Akhulia credited the team's impressive displays against Ingwe to discipline and mental fortitude.

"The boys were disciplined and focused throughout both matches. They were highly competitive encounters but our rigorous training and preparation paid off," he added.

However, Akhulia acknowledged the challenge that lies ahead.

“It will be tough, no doubt. The league is very competitive. All we have to do is stick to the script,” he stated.

They are 10th with 44 points from 31 matches. KCB area point and a slot further down.

The Thika-based club's upcoming fixtures include eighth-placed Kariobangi Sharks on June 16, 16th-placed Shabana on June 19 and champions Gor Mahia on June 23.

KCB face seventh-placed Posta Rangers on June 15, Ingwe on June 19 and Nairobi City Stars on June 23.

The bankers are in the FKF Cup final against Kenya Police on June 29.

In the first leg, Bidco played to goalless draws against Sharks and Gor Mahia and clinched a 1-0 win over Shabana.

Despite the tough schedule, Akhulia believes his team is ready.

"They will be challenging games but that won’t deter us from our goal of winning all the matches," he noted.

"Training has been excellent. We’ve prepared well for the last three games and there are no major injuries. The boys are highly motivated," he stated.
