Fresh from winning the Four-Nations tournament in Malawi, Harambee Stars have landed an invite to play world champions Argentina, France and Euro hosts Germany in November in a blockbuster event.

Engin Firat's charges, who ranked outside the top 100 in the Fifa rankings will come up against the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Toni Kroos amongst others in a once in a lifetime opportunity for the East African nation. 

Stars, who have never played any top 10 ranked teams in their history,  will have an opportunity to test themselves against the leading lights of world football.

Stars will also launch a new kit for the special four-nations tournament for the event. The event, according to the coordinator, Peter Dennis, will be vital for Harambee Stars' hopes of qualification to the Fifa 2026 World Cup which has been expanded to 48 nations. 

A source at Football Kenya Federation ( FKF) termed the opportunity a once-in-lifetime opportunity for the national team.

“It's not every day we get a chance to play with the world champions, runners up and a top European side.

We can't wait for the opportunity it's going to be big as you are aware even the big African teams don't get such an opportunity to play the world's best.
