Kenyan Premier League side Shabana has beefed up the squad by signing three more players ahead of Sunday's encounter against Nairobi City Stars on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Fredrick Odhiambo, who was released by Bandari in January, is expected to replace Mustapha Oduor, who has not impressed coach Sammy Omollo.

Odhiambo has also played for the defunct Wazito, Gor Mahia, Sofapaka, Mathare United and Rwanda’s AS Kigali.

Omollo was unhappy with the goal Oduor conceded during their 1-0 loss to Ulinzi Stars at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay two weeks ago.

Right-back Alvin ‘Chicha’ Odhiambo has joined on loan from Gor Mahia until the end of the season. Odhiambo can also play as a left-back.

Attacking midfielder Lameck Onuong’a was brought in from Division Two side Bomachoge Borabu. The trio are likely to make their debut at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Sunday.

Another goalkeeper, Ezekiel Owade and utility player Christopher Raila are expected to join from Muhoroni Youth. Owade previously played for AFC Leopards, Bidco United, the defunct Nakumatt FC, Muhoroni Youth and Bidco United.

The club is also targeting a left-back and a striker while veteran strikers Mark Makwatta and Eric Ombija will not join despite training with the team for a week.

Other signings include midfielder Japhet Lihanda from Darajani Gogo, left-back Maneno Lamela from Singida Fountain of Tanzania, striker Mathew Tegisi from NSL side Gusii FC and Brian Odhiambo from Rainbow.

Meanwhile, forward Nehemiah Onchiri has left, on loan, for National Super League side Kisumu All Stars while Isaac Otieno joins second-tier side Naivas.
