Ousmane Diamande is a player on demand and his stoke has risen because of his unrivaled performances at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cote d'Ivoire.

The Ivorian center-back, 20, has been a bright spot in the Elephants' team that has blown hot and cold in this year's tournament.

Diamande, who is tipped to start in tonight's do-or-die clash with defending champions Senegal, is the hottest property in the transfer market at the moment and is being monitored by at least seven clubs according to the Daily Mail.

It states that Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, Juventus, and Bayern Munich are all keeping tabs on the ball-playing defender, having sent scouts to the West African nation.

He is a youth product of the Ivorian club Olympic Sport Abobo, having joined at the age of 10.

Diamande then moved to the youth academy of the Danish club Midtjylland in January 2020.

In August 2022, Diomande joined Portuguese club Mafra on a season-long loan.

His professional debut for Mafra came on August 6, a day after signing.

Diamande proved a shrewd signing for Mafra and his talent was noticed by Sporting who scouted him before signing him in January 2023.

Sporting CP tied Diamande to a four-year contract after forking out €7.5million.

He made his debut for Sporting, coming off the bench in a 1-0 victory over Rio Ave.

On January 21, 2023, he made his first start for the team.

The burley defender made his European debut on March 9 against Arsenal in the 2-2 draw in the Uefa Europa League round of 16 match.

The Ivorian scored his first goal for the Lions on May 21 in the 2-2 draw with Benfica.

He was rewarded with his meteoric rise with a national team call-up in September Afcon qualifiers when he debuted against Lesotho on September 9.

In December, Diomande was named in the Ivory Coast's squad for the Afcon and has played in all three group matches.
