Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has said they are not nervous ahead of the crucial 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Botswana.

The gallant Kenya women's national team will square off against the highly regarded Zebras at Nyayo stadium on Wednesday afternoon in a high-octane encounter.

Botswana walloped Gabon 7-1 to advance to the penultimate stage of the qualification campaign.

Odemba urged her charges to leverage the home advantage saying doing so will make their work a lot more easier when they face their opponents at their backyard in Gaborone on December 5.

"Everyone is motivated and prepared for the match since we have trained well. No squad is unbeatable in this world. We acknowledge that Botswana have advanced more than we have, but we have also made progress," Odemba stated.

"Everyone is focused and we've prepared well for them. We're prepared," she continued.

The tactician who also serves as Kenya Police Bullets head coach played down fears that starting at home will disadvantage her team.

"We will fight tooth and nail to maintain a clean sheet and get a win of a good margin that will put us in a better position to qualify," Odemba remarked.
