Gaspo reverse decision, to play Vihiga in last match of season

After consultations, we have decided to honour the fixture against Vihiga that is set for May 27-club statement.

Gaspo Women will honour their match against Vihiga Queens after threatening to give the ultimate match of the Kenya Women's Premier League season a wide berth.

"After consultations, we have decided to honour the fixture against Vihiga that is set for May 27. Apologies to all fans, supporters and stakeholders of the Gaspo Women's football club for all the inconveniences caused," a statement from the club read.

On Wednesday,  the club posted on their social media pages their intention of not playing the last match.

"We as Gaspo Club have decided not to participate in the final match. The decision has come to be considered due to a number of reasons. We therefore will give out a walkover to the abovementioned opponents".
