Despite not being in action for more than a year due to Fifa suspension, Harambee Starlets is still ranked above neighbors Uganda and Tanzania according to the latest world rankings.
The national women's team has however dropped one place. The Starlets were ranked at position 27 out of 44 nations as of December 9, 2022.
The team is ranked position 28 on the continent and 149 overall according to the rankings released on Friday. Tanzania 30 and Uganda 32, are 152 and 160 globally respectively.

South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana and Cote D'ivoire are second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.
Ethiopia 18, is the only Eastern Africa nation in the top 20 category. Rwanda 33, Burundi 40 and South Sudan 44, complete the list.
The Starlets will play an international friendly match against Albania on April 11 in Tirana, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced.
The team is expected to report to camp on March 30 and leaves for Albania on April 8, according to the communication.
