Kenyan Premier League debutants, Kenya Police, have completed the signing of ex-Kenyan international Musa Mohammed on a two-year contract.

Musa featured for Lusaka Dynamos in the Zambian Super League prior to his latest move.

Coach John Bobby Ogolla is expected to plunge the experienced defender into the heart of his shaky backline which has conceded three goals in their opening two encounters of the season, a streak that has left them winless, with just a point collected.

The 30-year-old centre-back joins the law enforcers on the strength of the ‘Bosman ruling’ which stipulates that a player can move to another club at the end of a contract without a transfer fee being paid.

They have so far managed to rope in former Gor Mahia fleet-footed left winger Clifton Miheso, John Makwata from Zesco United and Duncan Otieno, who featured alongside Musa at Lusaka Dynamos.

His stay at the club was, however, punctuated by controversy after he and former teammate at K'Ogalo, Kenneth Muguna, bolted out in protest over a pay dispute. He returned to K'Ogalo briefly before joining Lusaka Dynamos in November 2020.

He, however, dumped the Zambian side at the end of the 2020-2021 season.
