Gor Mahia have lost 2-1 to Algerian champions CR Belouizdad at the Nyayo Stadium in the second leg of the CAF Champions League to crash out of the tournament.
The Kenyan champions lost 6-0 in the first leg played on Boxing Day and failed to capitalise on home advantage in the return match as they succumbed 8-1 on aggregate.
Gor took the lead in the 22nd minute through Burundian import Jules Ulimwengu, who tapped in Samuel Onyango’s cross.
The visitors levelled matters through Amir Sayoud in the 79th minute and had Abdelkader Belharane put the icing on the cake five minutes to the final whistle.
Gor Mahia will now drop to the CAF Confederations Cup.
