Kenya Ports Authority claimed the FIBA Africa Women Basketball League crown after beating Rwanda Energy Group 87-53 in the finals played at Lyncee Gymnasium, Kigali, Rwanda.

The porters who ended the eight-day tournament had cruised off to a 22-16 first-quarter edge.

They managed another 22-14 cushion in the second quarter and built up a 44-30 advantage at halftime.

At the end of the third quarter, KPA were up to a comfortable 62-43 lead and rounded things up in the deciding quarter with another good 25-10 show.
