Kenya National Basketball League regular season matches will come to an end on April 15,  according to Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF)  competition secretary Joseph Amoko.

He said he has drawn the full fixtures of the remaining matches and expects things to flow smoothly before the playoffs.

"I have now finalised the fixtures of all the remaining matches. We will not reschedule anything until the end," Akomo said.

He went on: "Once we are done with the regular season games, I will then draw the program for the playoffs.

"Eight teams from all the five categories will qualify for the quarter-finals to be played in the best-of-three format.

"As always, we will start off with the best of three series then play the best of five games in both the semi-finals and the finals."

He released the weekend fixtures that will see Kenya Ports Authority, who have played far fewer games, host Africa Nazarene University teams.

ANU Wolfpacks and Panthers will be away to KPA on Saturday before the ports men welcome the visiting Lakeside from Kisumu.

The other weekend matches will see an epic top-of-the-bill encounter pitting league leaders Ulinzi Warriors against second-placed Equity Bank Dumas.

The table-topping soldiers, who have bagged 36 points from 20 matches,  will host the fixture at their Ulinzi Sports Complex, Langata.

The second-placed bankers who won the first-leg tie, have garnered 34 points from 19 ties and have lost four matches.

The other matches will see Thunder, who went down 70-64 to KPA in Mombasa last Sunday, play Kenyatta University Pirates.

In the women's matches, Zetech University Sparks have two matches against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUATS ) and Eagle Wings.

The University of Nairobi Dynamites who suffered a 105-15 drubbing against league champions KPA have a date with JKUAT Lynx.
