Former national champions  the Ulinzi Warriors pipped Africa Nazarene University 57-56 in a Kenya National Basketball League match at the Lang'ata Sports Complex.

Eldoret proved a good hunting ground for Strathmore University teams as they won all their three matches on card.

The Lower Division match, saw Strathmore were made to work hard before defeating Shoot-4-Life 59-56 in a close tie.

In the ladies premier tie, Strathmore Swords cut Eldonets 69-22 while Blades also damaged Eldonets Platinum 60-48 in the men.

In Kisumu, the visiting University of Nairobi teams had mixed results at the Manyatta Arab courts.

UoN Terrorists started off badly trailing 43-19 at the break and never recovered, losing the game 78-66 at the end.

The ladies on the other hand had a good showing, winning 60-44 against Lady Bucks after taking a 35-26 edge at half-time.
