IT’S definitely more money for Eric Wainaina! Last year, the Kenyan award winning Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and performer pocketed one million bob, after he was made the brand ambassador for Nederburg wines.

Now, the Kitu Kidogo hit maker is laughing all the way to the bank again, after Distell Limited — one of Africa’s leading producer of fine wines, spirits, ciders and ready to drink alcoholic beverages — extended their partnership with him.

He continues as Nederburg’s brand ambassador for unspecific period following a six-month successful campaign dubbed Taste Makers.

“I’m delighted that Nederburg have shown their appreciation for our initial partnership by continuing to work with me. Kenyans know their wine and have steadily developed great taste for the finer things in life which is what Nederburg represents,” Wainaina told Word Is.

Distell GM for North East Africa, Richard Lord said, “Eric is an iconic figure in Kenya’s entertainment industry which is why we still believe he is the perfect fit for Nederburg. Like our brand, Eric radiates class, passion, endurance and unparalleled success.”
