All is set for the inaugural Kapsabet Half Marathon on 31st March 2024 in Kapsabet.
The start point for the race will be at Nandi Hills, near Nandi Bears Club at 7 am and will end at Kipchoge Sports Complex, Kapsabet.
The race is a celebration of the boundless talents in athletics with which God has blessed Nandi County.
It also provides a platform for upcoming athletes to showcase their talents and take their athletics careers to the next level.
According to the race co-ordinator, Dr Judy Karei, over 1000 athletes are expected to participate in the following race categories: 21km; 10km and 5km family fun race.
The race is hosted by the CITAM Kapsabet assembly in partnership with the County Government of Nandi and the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) among other stakeholders.
