This week began with sad emotions as Kenyans and leaders attended a  memorial service of the Londiani crash victims in Kericho. The June 30 accident left 52 people dead and many nursing injuries.

As this happened learners traveled back to school as the second term mid-break came to an end. 

President William Ruto was honoured with the highest award in Comoros. He was given the Grand Cross of the Green Crescent of the Comoros during his visit to the Island.

This is even as Kenyans across the country held demonstrations to mark Saba Saba Day. The protests were called by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
