The 20th edition of the Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon will be launched on July 8 at Uhuru Gardens.
Those who will attend the event will be required to participate in the 2.84km and 5.02 km on the day.
The event will address the major milestones the marathon has had during the previous editions.
Athletics stakeholders from the government and the private sector, sponsors, and athletes will attend the session.
Among those expected will be Nairobi Deputy Governor James Ngoroge, Permanent Secretary Ministry Sports, Culture and Heritage Peter Tum, Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Chief Executive Kariuki Ngari and chairman, Local Organizing Committee Marathon Peter Gitau.
Others are National Youth Service General Director James Tembur, Athletics Kenya President Jackson Tuwei, Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK) Executives anf PWD Athletes.
