There is no resting for Kenya's fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala as he sets his eyes in competing in the Zagreb leg of the European Continental Tour.
Omanyala made his debut in the World Athletics Diamond League in Brussels on Friday night finishing fourth behind a trio of Americans.
The speedster was impressed by his display, particularly besting African champion Akani Simbine.
"It was a great experience. I thank God for what He ia doing in my life. Its a step to better performances in future. It is the beginning of greater things," said Omanyala in his post race comments.
In Brussels, Omanyala clocked 10.02 behind Fred Kerley(9.94),Trayvon Bromell(9.97), Michael Norman(9.98) signaling his best time is slowly firming towards sub ten in the 100m dash.
He was adamant that consistently sprinting sub ten seconds time was his target for the rest of the athletics season co starting with the Continental Tour.
"I want a great race in Zagreb."
"A sub 10 will be considered a good performance for me." he concluded.
The Zagreb Leg of the European Continental Tour is set for September 14.
