Striker Dennis Oalo has joined FKF Premier League giants, Tusker FC, from relegated Nairobi City Stars.

Oalo signed a one-year contract with the Brewers as they continue rebuilding the team ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Oalo, a proven finisher in the FKF Premier League, joins the Brewers to bolster the team’s attacking options ahead of the new season.

Known for his strength, pace and eye for goal, the forward will add depth and experience to Tusker's forward line.

Speaking on the signing, Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere expressed confidence in Oalo’s impact.

“Dennis is a quality striker who understands the league well. We believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad as we push for success this season,” Okere remarked. Oalo expressed his excitement after joining the 13-time Kenyan champions. “Tusker is a big club with a winning mentality. I’m happy to be here and ready to give my all for the badge,” he said.

Oalo has already started training with the team after the completion of all necessary paperwork and approvals.

He will battle it out for a starting place with Harambee Stars forward Rayan Ogam, new signing Eric Kapaito, and youngster David Polepole.

Oalo is Tusker’s eighth signing in the current transfer window. The club has already signed defender Eugene Ikutwa (Bidco), winger Yakeen Muteheli (Ulinzi Stars), midfielder Vincent Otieno (City Stars), defender Francis Oduor (Bidco), while forward Eric Kapaito has returned from Namungo in Tanzania. George Odhiambo and David Polepole have meanwhile been promoted from the youth team.

Tusker parted ways with nine players following the expiry of their contracts. They are— John Byamukama, James Kibande, Luke Namanda, David Odoyo, Boban Zirintusa, Deogratious Ojok, Mike Oduor and Lawrence Luvanda. Defender Yussuf Mainge also left after his season-long loan spell from FKF Premier League champions Kenya Police FC.
