Vihiga Queens striker Emilly Moranga is the player of the month after an impressive performance in January.
Moranga’s latest achievement was based on the club’s two matches in January where they beat Wadadia ladies 6-0 at Mumias Complex and beating Soccer Assassins 2-0 at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
She has scored five goals in the 2023/24 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.
“The award is motivation as I aim to go higher in my football career. But the most important thing is teamwork,” Moranga said.
She beat Puren Alukwe and Rebecca Okwaro of Police Bullets to the award.
Moranga joined Vihiga Queens from Nyakach Girls during the January transfer window. She has featured in four matches for the champions.
