Bunyore Starlets head coach Timothy Ondeko says they have what it takes to win the Women's Premier League when the season kicks off next month.

Ondeko said he has made key changes in the playing unit that will produce results including the dropping of former captains Priscar Ambale and Cynthia Kavaya as well as Lucky Achando.

"We have a new goalkeeper on board and have also strengthened our defence and the midfield," Ondeko said.

He said the management will avail the newly-signed players before the end of the month after ensuring they have met all the requirements for registration with the governing body.

Speaking during a training session at Mumboha grounds, Ondeko said they have ironed out the challenges that left them battling relegation in the last two seasons.

"This time we won't be fighting to remain in the league. We want to stamp our authority in the league like the other teams," he said, adding that this will also be dependent on how well the club management caters to the players' welfare.

"Once we have our players taken care of, we shall also demand good results from them because the two must go hand-in-hand," the tactician posed. "I believe in the playing unit I have. They will give us what we want if we invest well in them."

Meanwhile, Zetech Sparks tactician Benard Kitolo said his charge are well prepared for the new season after effecting several changes.

"My charge is fit but we have just made a few changes on it to ensure we go for the trophy," Kitolo said.
