Twinkle Hockey Club has announced a new three-year kit sponsorship deal with Tessen Sports, the official Samurai Rugby apparel supplier.
In a statement, the club’s CEO, Simon Mwangi, indicated that the new partnership represented a significant milestone for the club and also added that a kit is not only a uniform but a symbol of unity.
“Our club’s journey takes a thrilling turn with Tessen Sports stepping in as our official kit suppliers. This partnership represents a significant milestone for our club and opens up a world of possibilities for our players and fans alike,” Mwangi said.
He added: “With this partnership, Twinkle Hockey Club will not only benefit from the exceptional quality and design of Samurai’s sportswear, but we will also gain access to Tessen Sports' extensive network and expertise in the industry,” he said.
Mwangi also went on to thank Tessen for partnering with the club and believing in the club's vision.
“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the team at Tessen for their belief in our vision and look forward to a fantastic collaboration ahead.”
The managing director of Tessen Sports, Keeley Theobold called the partnership with the club a first of its kind in the region and also expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration.
“As the first of its kind within the region, the new partnership builds on our growing multi-sport presence in East Africa.
"We look forward to working with Twinkle Hockey and to providing them with premium quality kit and equipment that will provide that extra edge on the playing field,” he said.
Twinkle are in their first season in the Super League.
