Tanzania's Karim 'Mtu Kazi' Mandonga is set to challenge Ugandan boxer Kenneth Lukyamuzi in Nairobi on March 25 in a ten-round title bout.

The vocal pugilist decimated Kenya's Daniel Wanyonyi in a super-middleweight bout held at KICC, Nairobi in mid-January.

Mandonga lived up to his hype of the show after technically knocking out Wanyonyi in the fifth round to clinch victory.

The 43-year-old boxer was expected to have a re-match with Wanyonyi but Wanyonyi is reported to have pulled out at the last minute.

Mandonga is popularly known for his comical statements before and after bouts, where he vows to floor his opponents.

Lukyamuzi, 45, was last involved in a non-title welterweight fight against Malawian boxer Chikondi Makawa in 2020.

Mandonga has seven bouts, three wins, three losses, and one draw, while his Ugandan opponent has three losses, one draw, and six wins in his last ten bouts.
