DCI out of this weekend's KVF league matches, says Bor

The sleuths are heading to Rwanda for EAPCCO.

The Directorate Of Criminal Investigation women's volleyball team has appealed to the Kenya Volleyball Federation to reschedule their weekend matches against Kenya Defense Forces and Kenya Army due to other commitments.

The second leg of the KVF league matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the Nyayo Stadium.

Coach Daniel Bor presumed that the team is heading to Rwanda for the East Africa Police Chief Corporation Organization annual tournament.

The competition will be held on March 21-27 and the sleuths are expected to leave the country as soon as possible.

"We have appealed to KVF to postpone our matches. We are getting ready  for the Rwanda showpiece," Bor said.

The games were last held in 2019 at the Moi International Stadium, Kasarani. The covid-19 pandemic and other challenges made it impossible for the games not to be staged for the past three years.

"We had a poor turn up for the women's teams in 2019. We won the title in Dar-es- Salaam 2018 so we would like to reclaim it," Bor hinted.
