Sets of 25-14, 25-22 and 26-24 condemned Kenya to yet another heavy defeat after a below par performance against Japan on Sunday, when they lost with the same set margin to Japan.

The Paul Bitok-led Malkia Strikers named the same starting line-up that crumbled against Japan and made a dream start to the game by taking 5-1 lead, heading into the first timeout.

A tactical tweak by the South Koreans disoriented Kenyans' system—allowing their rivals to come back into the game amid 7-5 lead. Quick ball setting and fast-middle attacks characterised South Korea's game and Kenya could not cope up with rivals as the whistle for the first set went.
