Musa gushes over expanding coaching pool in Kenya

Fifty-two participants graduated in Kajiado North with CAF D Coaching course after a coaching clinic conducted by FKF in partnership with Kajiado North Sub-County NG-CDF.

Former Harambee Stars defender  and head instructor Musa  Otieno has praised the Football Kenya Federation for  improving the technical capacity of upcoming coaches across the country.

Otieno said that the upcoming  coaches under his tutelage will be able to share the knowledge learnt with their peers. 

"I wish my students all the best in their coaching career and I do hope they will spread the knowledge they have gained from this course with their fellow coaches,” Otieno said.

He was speaking over the weekend during a coaching course by Football Kenya Federation in partnership with Kajiado North Sub-County National Government Constituency Development fund (NG-CDF).

Kajiado North  MP Joseph Manje presided over the closing ceremony of the  CAF D Coaching Course.

 Manje was elated  that more women are signing up for the courses offered by the county and Football Kenya Federation.

“We have been able to achieve gender inclusivity by incorporating more women to the courses; with one of the beneficiaries being a player of Harambee Starlets,” he said.

Under the tutelage of instructors Otieno and Hamisi Mohammed, 52 participants were trained and duly certified.
