Tottenham Vs Arsenal Today 3:45pm

Spurs 2-1 The Gunners

Grief! That’s how I feel right now. It’s been downhill for Arsenal over the past couple of weeks and there’s no reason to feel inspired at all. Infact with Petr Cech going to miss his first game of the season in this North London derby; it sums up the way all Gunners feel right now; hopeless! Nothing is going in our favour. We have pretty decent players but it’s a wonder how they can all be out of form at the same time. Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey; they are all out of form at the same time and it’s hurting us badly. The only player who appears to be in form is Joel Campbell and yet our manager, who is also out of form, won’t let him play a full game. Spurs on the contrary have been having a good run; however I don’t understand what went wrong for them against West Ham midweek. But it’s probably more to do with the time of the season and the mental state of many players. Spurs are excited at the prospect of winning the league and were probably so nervous at Leicester having dropped points the day before; that they just couldn’t win against the Hammers. But overall their form is looking better than Arsenal’s. I am not going to do what I haven’t done ever in my life I think; and that is to predict a Gunners loss. I’m hoping, as usual, that my prediction is wrong!

Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool Sunday 4:30pm

My Prediction: Palace 2-2 The Reds

Liverpool fans are so amusing. You beat Man City 3-0 in the league after losing your only real chance at silverware this season days earlier to them; and you think you’re on top of the world! My co host Kieni Githinji has been talking trash all week and yet the Reds are still languishing in 8th in the league standings, a whooping ten points behind the struggling Gunners! Honestly Kieni, you may have had a good week but the league is a marathon and standings don’t lie! Besides, City have been below par for much of the season; just like you. Lucky for you the last time Crystal Palace won a game was before Christmas! 12 league games ago! And they have had only three draws in their last ten matches. They are so useless right now that I actually don’t know how they are in the relegation zone. So here’s what’s going to happen. The Reds will go into this over-confident because of Palace’s poor form and their big midweek win; and end up with a draw. I’m banking on ex-Arsenal boys Emmanuel Adebayor and Maroune Chamakh to mess up your day and probably your former player Fabio Borini.

West Brom Vs Manchester United Sunday 7pm

My Prediction: West Brom 2-2 The Red Devils

West Brom did the entire league a favour on Tuesday when they held league leaders Leicester City to a 2-2 draw. These are players who don’t fear so called big sides and have been known in the past to spoil parties that had already been planned. Infact when these two teams met in October, the game ended in a 2-2 draw much to United’s surprise. The Red Devils have nevertheless improved in recent weeks, although beating Arsenal when she’s already down, isn’t all that big an achievement! Even Swansea beat us so stop boasting about it guys! That said: little Marcus Rashford is one player to be respected. Yes he may still be in school but he’s a talent who would not have been recognized had Anthony Martial not got injured last week. Infact Wayne Rooney is the one who should be afraid of his position right now because these kids are ruling the grounds! But West Brom has some great goal scorers of their own who won’t be sleeping on the day. I’m sure they’re aiming for a top ten finish and now that they’re 13th, it’s highly possible. I don’t think United will be beaten but I do believe this game can end all square.
