The family of Kalenjin singer Diana Chelele is reluctant to announce the burial date unless her children are present.
“I might not know where my two grandchildren are but before we move ahead to plan on burial they must be brought to us. I just want to believe they are safe wherever they are,” her father Paul Rono said yesterday.
He spoke at the Kapkwen home where Chelele’s body was found on Saturday morning.
It is not clear where she will be buried, as she had separated from her husband Eric Musila.
Musila has been arrested in connection with the murder and was arraigned in court on Thursday.
The family said the two parted ways a year ago but Musila had been hounding Chelele and recently took away their twins to an undisclosed location.
