Kenyan singer Judith Nyambura alias Avril has for the first time disclosed the mean grade she scored in High school and the degree course she pursued at The University of Nairobi.
In an interview with the Star’s Kalondu Musyimi, disclosed that she scored an A- in form four.
“I got an A minus which is equivalent to the Kenyan system because I did my A and O levels in Uganda,” Avril revealed.
"I have a degree in product design from the School of Architecture, development, and Design at the University of Nairobi,".
Avril also told the Star that her first job was as a graphic designer about 20 years ago.
At the same time, Avril narrated an ordeal that landed her in jail while shooting one of her music videos.
“We were on set just about to start shooting Kitu Kimoja and we had a car that was apparently not supposed to leave Nairobi. So the owner went and tracked the car and found us where we were and within no minute a police car was on site to take us.
"We were taken to the police station and we had to explain why we had a car they thought we had stolen," she said.
