Rarieda member of parliament Otiende Amollo has retained his seat.
Amollo's win marks the beginning of his second term as Rarieda MP.
The MP retained his seat after garnering 37,676 votes against his closest challenger Agustin Adhola who got 23,266 under the United Democratic Movement (UDM).
Amollo was running under the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) ticket.
He was handed a direct nomination by the ODM party because he had no competitor.
He was first elected as the MP for the Rarieda constituency in the 2017 general elections.
The MP is an advocate of the high court.
Amollo served as Ombudsman at the Commission on administrative justice for two years from 2014 to 2016.
