Rapper Octopizzo is the latest Kenyan artiste to be featured on a billboard in the US.
Octopizzo was featured on a New York billboard while in the US for World Water Day celebrations.
Octopizzo, a goodwill ambassador, took to Instagram to share a photo of his image on the billboard.
The rapper cited the need for access to clean drinking water and decent sanitation as he proudly showed off his photo on the enormous billboard.
He captioned the post in part:
"We are in New York at the @unitednations HQ to get answers and converge solutions coz it’s been over 50yrs since the United Nations Conference indicated that water should be a human right."
In 2022, Nikita was also featured on the New York Times Square billboard.
Other Kenyan artistes featured on the billboard include Sauti Sol, Khaligraph, Bahati, Muthoni the Drama Queen, Tanasha and Ssaru.
