Diana Marua and her husband Bahati are shooting Season 2 of their reality show, 'The Bahatis'.

The Bahatis told online media the show will soon hit the screens, bigger and better after a hiatus of more than three years.

"We are privileged to be the first Kenyans to risk it in a reality show on national TV, and you know when you are first to do something, when you come back, you need to be better. And we promise you that it is going to be a banger and you should expect the new season of the Bahatis soon."

The show started as 'Being Bahati' before being renamed 'Bahati Reality', followed the couple's day-to-day lives. It gave fans a glimpse into their flashy family and lifestyle.

The show was put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 'Bahati Reality Show' was nominated in the 2018 Kalasha Awards barely three months after its launch.

With their return to the screens, Bahati and Diana hope to make history.

"Right now, we are creating a serious banger and you never know, maybe this will be the first East African reality show on Netflix, " Bahati said.

Diana said the new season will be all about family, showcasing who they are, their life and what they stand for, including the virtues of family and lifestyle.

"It's going to be the best family reality show in Africa," Bahati said.

He added that viewers could expect a lot from the show.

"There is a lot to be expected on that show, but trust me, it's going to be a different level."
