South African rapper Costa Tsobanoglou, popularly known as Costa Titch, was pronounced dead on Saturday.
The 27-year-old collapsed twice while performing at the Ultra music festival in Johannesburg the same day.
The news of his death was first confirmed by South African media personality Phil Mphela on Twitter.
"RIP: Costa Titch. Nelspruit-born artiste and dancer, real name Costa Tsobanoglou, has passed away. He was 27.”
His last Instagram story showed a poster of the Amapiano rapper hyping the festival that he last performed at.
Revellers at the Ultra music festival in Johannesburg had taken videos of the Amapiano star performing and the moment he collapsed. Those videos have since gone viral.
Titch is known for hits like 'Big Flexa', 'Nkalakatha' and 'Activate'.
