Singer Trio Mio says his dad advised him to never date an older woman.
Trio told Mungai Eve said he respects women who are above him.
"It depends on the connection. But I will never date an older woman. It's a fact," he said.
"Tukiwa age the same zogo inaweza zua, mnaeza katsiana vibaya sana na mimi staki, so I'll date someone who's younger than me."
In 2021, his mother, Irma Sakwa, said she had met Trio's bae and approved.
"I was happy at least he has brought a girl and I’ve met her. It’s good. It is better than keeping the relationship a secret."
The young rapper heaped praises on his girlfriend.
"She is beautiful, she makes me happy, she is a vibe," he said.
"I want to achieve my goals as she achieves hers while still together."
