Singer Jovial has explained why she doesn't have many female friends.
In a post on her Insta Stories, the talented singer said she prefers having male friends since most women are jealous of other women who are doing better than them.
"Hakuna watu hukuwa chilled kama maboys! Anytime, any day! Depends with how you carry yourself!"
She said she has to choose her circle of female friends wisely even when it comes to who she collaborates with in her music.
"One of the reasons why I'm choosy when it comes to female collaborations! I hate negative vibes, man!" she said.
A few months ago, she made headlines after she was criticised over a video of her dancing with TV anchor Rashid Abdalla.
Jovial asked women to stop projecting their insecurities on an innocent act.
